STATE and
REGIONAL MEET FOOD:
A parent should be assigned to
buy food and bring it to the track Saturday morning. They should be
given the two red and white coolers (with wheels) and some large
plastic containers to use to store
and bring food to the state meet. Have them bring food to track on
Saturday, call one of the coaches when they get there so kids can be
sent to help carry the food to the team tents. Receipts should be
turned into the team treasurer for reimbursement.
One of the coolers should have
ice for meat, cheese and other perishables. Food preparation
supplies,-napkins, paper towels, plates, etc will be brought by the
head coaches in the team van.
Water:
12 cases of bottled water. Purchased and placed in team van by head
coaches. Trailer and storage closet should be checked prior to
purchase.
Food for athletes:
1 case of Bananas
1 case of oranges
6 bags of bagels -assorted
1 jar of Peanut Butter
1 squeeze Jar of Jelly
50 individually wrapped fig newton bars
50 granola and health bars -assorted
Food for coaches:
3 loaves of bread (Multi-grain, rye, assorted -no white)
4 bags of chips (assorted)
2 containers of cream cheese
1 large jar of dill pickles
1 squeeze jar of Mayonnaise
1 squeeze jar of Mustard
10 tomatoes
1 ziplock bag of baby carrots
1 large package of lettuce
3 bags of grapes (Assorted)
2 lbs of sliced turkey, and 2 lbs of sliced ham. (These should be in
zip lock bags, in large plastic containers)
2 lb of sliced swiss cheese and 2 lbs of sliced muenster or other
variety (Also in zip lock bags, in large plastic containers)
